The Hamptons Visitors Council is an organization comprised of the six Southampton Town Chambers. It publishes The Hamptons Travel Guide and a Quarterly Calendar of Events, and in addition, advertises the Town in the New York Metro area.

Southampton Country Holiday was established by the Southampton Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with local merchants, as means of encouraging visitors and residents to come to Southampton for their holiday shopping needs. The season highlight is always the Annual Tree Lighting at Agawam Park on Saturday, December 1st at 5:00 p.m. and this year will be no exception. Not to be forgotten is the ever popular “Red Button” campaign, wherein individuals seen wearing the red “Southampton Country Holiday” button by our “Mystery Spotter” will win a $10 gift certificate, donated by participating merchants. The buttons can be picked up at the Southampton Chamber of Commerce office on Main Street and should be worn at all times when shopping in the village as you never know where the “Mystery Spotter” will be lurking!
