Since 1987, the Retreat has been the only full-service domestic violence organization (including safe shelter) in the region and maintains the region's only domestic violence hotline. The Retreat's comprehensive services are accessible to English and Spanish speakers. We currently provide wide support services plus five core offerings: 1.) Domestic Violence Prevention Education; 2.) 24-hour Crisis Hotline; 3.) Domestic Violence Shelter; 4.) Legal Advocacy (including help getting orders of protection); and 5.) Counseling.
