Celebrating 250 years of America and 105 years of Southampton tradition, the annual Independence Day parade is the heartbeat of the village’s July 4th celebrations.
Every summer, Southampton fills with red, white, and blue as locals and visitors honor our nation’s birth. This 2026 parade commemorates America’s 250th birthday with marching bands, floats, community groups, and patriotic entries along one of Long Island’s oldest and largest July 4th parade routes.
When
Saturday, July 4, 2026
Parade begins at 10:00 AM (participant check-in at the Southampton Train Station by 8:00 AM).
Route
The procession begins at Railroad Plaza, continues down North Main Street and Main Street, then up Jobs Lane to the review stand at Monument Square in Agawam Park.
Participate
Marching bands, floats, entertainers, and community organizations are welcome. Non-profit and community entries are free; commercial entries are $250. Applications are due May 15, 2026.
